Introduction:

In a healthcare set up, prevention of recontamination of sterile (clean) materials assumes great importance for efficient infection control and economic routine of a CSSD department.

Hence it becomes necessary that all instruments and components need to be rendered bone dry after cleaning and/or disinfection and prior to temporary storage before packing. Since this eliminates any possibility of contamination during the storage period, drying assumes good importance in the CSSD.

With this requirement in mind Machinfabrik has developed the simple, easy to use and convenient drying cabinet that assures a 100 % dry load condition.

Technique:

As the name suggests the drying process is simply carried out by hot air being blown oven the disinfected items to ensure complete absence on moisture .
