Introduction:

The Pure Steam Generator as the name suggests supplies Pyrogen free pure sterile steam. Machinfabrik recognizes the potential of an efficient and high quality psg, considering the huge applications of PSGs. Mainly used for sterilizing tanks, filters and piping systems, as well as products in sterilizers, and humidification stages in pharmaceutical processes


Technique:

Our pure steam generators work on the principle of evaporation.
Pure steam is produced by evaporating feed water with in the tubes of the vertical tube evaporator and circulating this generated steam through a stage separator .

The evaporator is a shell and tube type heat exchanger that has a supply of plant steam at the shell side that gives up heat to the feed water contained in the tubes. This generator steam is now passed though a separator that causes separation of contamination contained water droplets from the generated steam

A larger portion of the moisture is separated by gravity itself and further by making the steam pass a torturous path over multidirectional baffles to the cyclone separator where a high centrifugal force impacts on the entrained vapor. The separator steam is passed over a demister pad (for solid particle obstruction if any) & pyrogen free pure steam is collected at the output.

· Sanitary triclover fittings for ease of maintenance.

· The entire cycle of WFI generation is completely automatic with sophisticated yet simplistic plc control. The features that the plc control does offer are:

Pressure switches that communicate the pressure level on the incoming Utility lines to the plc are provided that will detect low pressure to alert the operator by means of an audiovisual alarm


Trip condition of the feed pump is communicated to the plc that will generate an audiovisual alarm for operator attention.

Audiovisual alarm to indicate any fault condition such as high conductivity of the generated pure steam.

User-friendly operator interface to allow the easy visual inspection of the cycle monitoring and control.

Pressure reducing valve can be provided for incoming plant steam for effective control of incoming steam pressure.
