· The plc will can also include the Drive status monitoring, valve positioning monitoring, process time monitoring, the analog & digital add-on card output monitoring as a precaution to detect any malfunctioning & thus provides greater assurance of precise process control.

· Provision to continue the process on subsequent temperature probes in case one probe fails so as to prevent a load fail condition.

The alarm condition will be displayed over the interface terminal for easy monitoring.

· Authorized access provision on the operator interface to prevent any accidental or bad intentioned usage of the machines.

· Easy touch screen interface terminal with Flexibility of display parameters of visual inspection over the operator interface terminal & easy control of the process with the terminal complete with online process status display as MIMIC diagram.

· Printing facility of online process status for ease of monitoring the process, periodic status check & also for validation of the cycles.

SCADA

SCADA is a software that can be operated with an desk top PC or a laptop.
The obvious advantage that a SCADA system offers as against the conventional
PLC-OPI system is remote monitoring and control over the entire system; along with a gamut of other facilities such as :


· Continuous process status indication: An entire screen is dedicated to display online status of the critical monitored parameters, ( viz. the chamber temperature sensors & the chamber pressure) at the convenience your desk.

· Mimic representation: The entire equipment operation along with its constituent components and monitored parameters can be represented diagrammatically with which process progress can be visually monitored & controlled.

· Report generation of process performance as against conventional printout as the only means to track process performance. SCADA provides a facility to generate report directly as excel spreadsheets avoiding redundant printouts. moreover with digital storage ,availability of space is greatly increased.

· Trending facility: The online progress of the chamber temperature and pressure (sensed by individual sensors placed in the chamber)can be each plotted against time for monitoring its performance and detect any error if existent.

· Online alarm facility: Alarm conditions as defined for the process have a dedicated screen with details of the alarm condition, such as time of occurrence and possible corrective measure.

· Alarm history facility: It is possible to view an alarm condition and control action initiated that occurred in the past thus satisfying the process supervisor that the process sequence was implemented as necessary even in his absence.

· Increased security level in order to prevent any wrong intentioned or accidental functioning of the cycle, increased password security up to ten levels is possible with the SCADA system.

· Recipe selection is possible for the operator to simply select from predefined options of process settings and execute as against conventional requirements to feed in values over an OPI and thus save time operator errors.
